Gonadorelin is a synthetic copy of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, the 10 amino acid signal the hypothalamus sends to the pituitary. It is used to test pituitary function and to support fertility through pulsatile delivery.
Gonadorelin binds GnRH receptors on pituitary cells and triggers release of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone. Delivered in short pulses that mimic natural rhythm, it keeps the downstream axis active and can restore testosterone or drive ovulation. Delivered continuously instead, it desensitizes the same receptors and suppresses output. Human evidence is solid for pulsatile fertility use.
Human evidence is strong for its diagnostic and pulsatile fertility uses, and weaker for casual hormone-support dosing.
- May support the body’s own testosterone production by keeping the pituitary signal active
- Studied as a fertility aid through restored LH and FSH pulses
- Used to keep the hormonal axis active during or after suppressive protocols
- Short half-life gives predictable, pulse-like signaling
- Injection-site redness, itching or swelling
- Headache, flushing or lightheadedness
- Continuous rather than pulsed dosing can suppress rather than stimulate hormones
- Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions
A summary of the research, not medical advice. Individual benefits and risks vary, and for some of these compounds the human evidence is still early.
Gonadorelin is generally used as an ancillary compound alongside other hormone protocols rather than alone. Reports describe changes in relevant hormone markers within one to two weeks, with its role generally framed around maintaining a pathway rather than a standalone felt effect.

Lyophilized: Keep the sealed powder cold and dark, near -20 °C, dry and out of light.
Reconstituted: Refrigerate the mixed vial at 2 to 8 °C and use within about 7 days.
Let a cold vial reach room temperature before you open it, so it takes on less condensation.
How strong is the evidence for Gonadorelin?
We grade it B on a four-point scale. Strong human data for diagnostic and pulsatile fertility use. Thin for general hormone support.
What is the half-life of Gonadorelin?
About 2 to 10 minutes. That is the figure the reported dosing frequency follows from.
What amount of Gonadorelin is used in the research?
Ongoing: 100–200 mcg, split through the day. Short pulses stimulate, while continuous dosing suppresses. Reference practice only.
How is Gonadorelin stored once reconstituted?
Refrigerate the mixed vial at 2 to 8 °C and use within about 7 days.
